Sarah here, coming to MVPA in Feb to bring you some seriously feel good flow. “Flow” a flow state, also known colloquially as ‘being in the zone’, is the mental state in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity.’ ............................................. I have been teaching pole for four years and running Off the Ground Pole Dance in Sheffield for two. My aim in my teaching is to help people find joy in their bodies and movement, be that through a new trick, a gorgeous flow combo or body rolling and split dropping to find ultimate power in your own selves. Dance, and especially freestyle, is scary when you first start; how do you know what to do? In my classes I provide ‘guided freestyle’ where I show you a pattern of movement and over time, you’ll begin to add your own spin (pun entirely intended) into the movement until it becomes completely your own. Within my sexy and exotic pole I have found power and control. From daring heel clacks and drops to smooth, slinky pointe work in heels. Technique builds control. Control builds confidence. Confidence brings power. And there ain’t nothing sexier than someone in control, with confidence and power. So I’ll see you there!” ————————————- Can’t wait to have you Sarah!
